Holidays. We all love them, whether it's a few days off work, a long weekend away or at home, a holiday to English seaside towns or going away aboard. Holidays are away to de-stress and relax. But do you want to stress yourself out, by not knowing what to pack? Follow my guide on what essentials to pack.

Being used to a summer holiday by the coast and being able to go sunbathing, a winter holiday will need a lot more thinking. You'll need to plan out careful, what you'll need as you may need loads of layers.

Make sure to get a coat that you can wear a lot of layers underneath. By wearing this the coat while you travel, you will have more room in your suitcase for more essential items and extra bits of clothing. Chunky knits aren't just a fashion statement, but they will help you control your body temperature where ever you are. There are loads of jumpers in stores, so why not get a range while they are in stock so you can layer up, for extra warmth. You may be tempted to pack three pairs of jeans for your holiday, but do you want half of your space taken up with jeans? Leggings are a better choice to pack, as they will take less time to dry from the snow. Leggings can Aldo be doubled up, either own on their or underneath outfits. A great alternative of leggings are joggers.

Make sure you are prepared for any types of winter weather. Pack a hat, scarf and a pair if gloves. As you lose most of your heat from your head, a hat is an essential accessory. Make sure to pack moisture, the cold air will be harsh on your skin and you'll want to look nice in the holiday pictures to show friends and family, when you're at home instead of flaky skin. Remember to take a lip balm as well, no one like chapped lips.

Remember pack wisely but pack light, you may want to buy some gifts while you're on holiday. Most of all, have fun!
